Cracar Siberians & Whippets

Health Information

Each and every breed has genetic health concerns that one needs to be aware of before purchasing your pet.  While the Siberian is generally a very healthy breed, they, like other breeds, are susceptible to Hip Dysplasia and genetic eye disorders.  Responsible, ethical breeders will screen their breeding stock for hip and eye disorders and will obtain certifications clearing their breeding stock of these disorders.  If the breeder cannot, or will not, provide you with this documentation, go somewhere else.

Below are links to help you understand these genetic health concerns as well as links to other sites pertaining to the health of not only Siberians but pets in general.
